I’m Sue, and we recently visited VroomTown in Atria, Petaling Jaya as Little E has been really into all things cars recently and we wanted to bring him for a driving experience.
VroomTown Malaysia is one of the newest immersive automotive-themed children attractions in Klang Valley.
It is designed to combine fun, education, and hands-on driving experiences in a safe environment. It introduces children to the basics of driving, road safety, and traffic awareness through realistic mini road setups.

Activities At VroomTown Malaysia
VroomDrive
- Cruise around Vroom Town in the Vroom Car
Children and parents attend a short Vroom Academy briefing that teaches basic driving skills and safety rules before starting. Kids get to drive the Vroom cars and choose cars of different colours before starting.

- Stop at Vroom Pump (Petrol Station) to refuel
Drivers can stop at the Vroom Pump to refuel their vehicles. This feature adds a realistic touch by simulating a real-life petrol station experience. It also encourages kids to understand simple vehicle routines and responsibility while driving.

- Vroom Drive Thru
The Vroom Drive Thru allows kids to experience stopping at a drive-through. It adds an extra layer of realism to the driving experience. This was closed when we visited.

- Overhead Flyover
The overhead flyover lets drivers experience elevated roads within the track. It creates a more dynamic driving environment by adding changes in height and perspective.
- Underground Rainbow Tunnel
The underground rainbow tunnel is one of the most visually engaging parts of the track. As drivers pass through, they are surrounded by colourful lights that create a fun and immersive atmosphere.

Vroom Experience:
- Car Wash Station
Kids can experience washing a car at the Car Wash Station, with raincoats provided to keep them dry. They can scrub and rinse the car thoroughly. It was Little E’s first time washing a car, he enjoyed it so much that they kept going, insisting the car is “still not clean yet.”

- Mechanic Workshop
At the Mechanic station, children get to explore basic car maintenance through interactive play. They can pretend to fix vehicles, learning about car tools and how cars work in a simple way.

- Bulldozer Arcade Game Machine
This arcade game allows kids to control a mini bulldozer in a game setting. It introduces them to coordination and control while operating the bulldozer to push the ball into the hole.

- Grocery Shopping At The Supermarket
Children can enjoy a mini grocery shopping experience using small trolleys. They can pick various items and even try out an interactive checkout machine, making it feel like a real supermarket visit.

- Flower Shop
Children can select from a variety of colourful artificial flowers and arrange them into their own bouquets. They can role-play as florists, choosing combinations and “selling” or gifting their creations to others.
- Pet Hospital
Kids can step into the role of a veterinarian by caring for toy animals using basic medical toy tools. They can check the pets, place them on examination tables, and pretend to treat different conditions.

- Post Office
Kids can experience sorting letters and parcels in a fun, simplified setting. They can role-play as postal workers or customers, learning how mail systems work.

Vroom Play
The indoor soft playground features a spacious ball pit along with fire station and police station themes. It is especially suitable for younger children, offering a safe and energetic space to climb, slide, and explore.

Tips For Tips For Visiting VroomTown Malaysia
- Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled slot to allow time for registration. During this time, kids will receive their wristband and take a photo for their driver’s licence for collection later. Don’t forget to collect the licence lanyard upon exit. Little E was proudly wearing his driver license lanyard at home days after our visit.
- Wearing covered shoes is required for driving activities. This ensures safety and better control while operating the mini vehicles. Avoid slippers or sandals to prevent any inconvenience.
- Bring non-slipped socks for playing at the indoor soft play playground. It’s also recommended to wear darker coloured socks instead of white, as they can get dirty easily.
- Parents do keep an eye on your kids throughout the visit as there are many moving cars around. Remind the kids to drive carefully and be cautious when walking around the tracks to avoid any accidents.
Is It Worth Visiting VroomTown Malaysia?
Yes, it is definitely worth visiting VroomTown for a fun and educational kid driving experience, although the one-hour session does really fly when you’re having fun here. Little E has been asking when can we go back to VroomTown again.
